Overview

The Data Manager is a new backend tool to help you easily customize your Resource center without needing the help of a developer.

Currently the Data Manager allows the adding, editing, and deleting of the following 3 things:

  1. Resource Types – the backbone of your Resource center holding all the different types of resources you utilize
  2. Taxonomies – the ways that the Resource Types can be further categorized and filtered
  3. Field Builder – create field groups with custom fields for your resource types

Managing Resource Types

With the Data Manager, you can:

  1. View a list of all existing Resource Types – differentiated between default types and custom types you add via the Data Manager
  2. Add new Resource Types – as many as you would like
  3. Edit existing Resource Types – easily change the label of a default type to better match your information architecture
  4. Delete Resource Types – note that only custom ones can be deleted
