Overview
The Content Modeler is a new backend tool to help you easily customize your Resource center without needing the help of a developer.
Currently the Content Modeler allows the adding, editing, and deleting of the following 3 things:
- Resource Types – the backbone of your Resource center holding all the different types of resources you utilize
- Taxonomies – the ways that the Resource Types can be further categorized and filtered
- Field Builder – create field groups with custom fields for your resource types
Managing Resource Types
With the Content Modeler, you can:
- View a list of all existing Resource Types – differentiated between default types and custom types you add via the Data Manager
- Add new Resource Types – as many as you would like
- Edit existing Resource Types – easily change the label of a default type to better match your information architecture
- Delete Resource Types – note that only custom ones can be deleted

Managing Taxonomies
With the Content Modeler, you can:
- View a list of all existing taxonomies – differentiated between default taxonomies or custom taxonomies you add via the Content Modeler
- Add new Taxonomies – as many as you would like – and manage their terms in the default WordPress term management view
- Edit existing Taxonomies – easily change the label of a default type to better match your information architecture
- Delete Taxonomies – note that only custom ones can be deleted

Managing Field Groups
With the Content Modeler, you can:
- Add new Field Groups – as many as you would like – for any Resource Types
- Add new Custom Fields inside of your field groups – no limit to the fields you can add
- Enter data into your new custom fields for your resource types and pull it into the front-end of your website
- Delete Field Groups and Fields
