- To get started, from the WordPress dashboard navigate to the “Posts” section (https://prnt.sc/t9b3m7).
How to Add a new blog post
- In the Posts section, click the “Add New” button (https://prnt.sc/t9b49d).
- This will load a new screen. From here you want to fill in the new blog post’s content into the appropriate input fields (https://prnt.sc/t9b55o).
- Make sure to select a “Featured Image”, as this serves as the team member’s headshot on the website (https://prnt.sc/t9b5i9).
- After filling in the new blog post’s content, make sure to click the blue “Publish” button to save your work (https://prnt.sc/t9b6e6).
How to Edit an existing blog post
- In the Posts section, hover over the name of the blog post you want to edit and click on the “Edit” button text (https://prnt.sc/t9b8iy).
- This will load a new screen, from which you can edit the blog post’s content (https://prnt.sc/t9b96n).
- To edit the blog post’s featured image, scroll down to the featured image area and select a new image there (https://prnt.sc/t9b9wq).
- After you are finished updating the blog post’s content, make sure to click the blue “Update” button to save your work (https://prnt.sc/t9baf8).
How to Delete an existing blog post
- In the Posts section, hover over the name of the blog post you want to delete and click on the red “Trash” button text (https://prnt.sc/t9b72a).
