How to Add, Edit and Delete Users in WordPress

How to Add Users

  1. To get started, navigate to “Users” in the WordPress dashboard.
    View all users from left sidebar
  2. In the “Users” section, click the “Add New” button.

  3. This will load a new screen. The next step is to fill in the fields with the new user’s information.

  4. After you have finished adding the new user’s information, save their user profile by clicking the blue “Add New User” button.

How to Remove Users

  1. To get started, navigate to “Users” in the WordPress dashboard.
    View all users from left sidebar
  2. In the “Users” section, in order to delete a user, hover that specific user’s name. On hover you will see the red “Delete” button text. Click this to remove a user from the website.
